2000年にデータアナリストとしてブルームバーグに入社。日米英の拠点にて26年にわたり、アナリティックス部門でのサービスの向上や採用・D&Iの推進、営業部門での顧客支援に従事。2020年には「Bloomberg Women’s Buy-Side Network」を立ち上げ、同年「Women in ETFs」日本支部共同代表にも就任。日本の大手資産運用会社を担当するリレーションシップマネージャーを経て現在は日本バイサイド営業共同責任者を務める。

Noriko joined Bloomberg in 2000 as a data analyst. Throughout her 26-year career spanning offices in Japan, the US, and the UK, she has been involved in enhancing service quality, recruitment, and D&I initiatives in the Analytics department, as well as client support in the Sales department. In 2020, she launched the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-Side Network and also assumed the role of co-chair for the Women in ETFs Japan Chapter. After serving as a relationship manager for top-tier Japanese asset management firms, she currently serves as Co-Head of Buy-Side Sales in Japan.

1992年に日本長期信用銀行（現 SBI新生銀行）へ入行。1999年に興銀信託銀行（現 みずほ信託銀行）に入社して以降、みずほグループにおける資産運用および資産管理ビジネスの拡大に取組む。アセットマネジメントOne経営企画グループ長、みずほ信託銀行アセットマネジメント部門長 兼 みずほ銀行アセットマネジメント副部門長を歴任。2023年4月アセットマネジメントOne 代表取締役社長に就任し、現在に至る。

Sugihara began his career at The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (currently SBI Shinsei Bank) in 1992. Following his appointment to IBJ Trust Bank (currently Mizuho Trust & Banking) in 1999, he has devoted his career to the advancement of the asset management and asset administration businesses across the Mizuho group. Over the course of his tenure, he has held a series of distinguished leadership positions, including Head of the Corporate Planning Group at Asset Management One, as well as Head of the Asset Management Division at Mizuho Trust & Banking, while concurrently serving as Deputy Head of the Asset Management Division at Mizuho Bank. In April 2023, he was appointed Representative Director and President of Asset Management One, the position he holds today.

住友銀行（現三井住友銀行）に16年間勤務し、ロスアンゼルス支店等でストラクチャードファイナンスやM&Aアドバイザリー等の投資銀行業務に従事。1995年以降はLazardとの協働を中心に多数のクロスボーダーM&A案件を成約。現在はカーライル日本会長兼共同代表として国内投資先全般を支援するほか、三共理化学、ユーザベース、キョウデンの非常勤取締役を務める。2017年から2019年まで日本プライベート・エクイティ協会会長を務めた。

Kazuhiro Yamada is Co-Head of the Carlyle Japan Advisory Team and Chairman of Carlyle Japan. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2001, he spent 15 years at Sumitomo Bank in investment banking, project finance and commercial banking, and later served as Senior Vice President at Daiwa Securities SB Capital Markets, advising on cross-border M&A transactions in collaboration with Lazard Frères. At Carlyle, he has played a leading role in supporting numerous portfolio companies across Japan. He currently serves as a board member of SANKYO RIKAGAKU, Uzabase and Kyoden. From 2017 to 2019, he served as Chairman of the Japan Private Equity Association.

Kenro Tsutsumi is President and Representative and Director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Co., Ltd. and co-head of the Client Solutions Group in Asia Pacific. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2003 as a vice president in Tokyo Yen Rates Sales and in 2006 was named head of Yen Rates Sales. In 2009. Kenro became head of Rates Sales Japan and co-head of Regional Bank Sales. In 2014, he was named head of Japan Macro Sales and deputy head of the FICC Sales Group, and named deputy head of Global Markets Sales in Japan in 2019. Kenro was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Kenro worked in Fuji Bank ( Present Mizuho Bank ) , UBS Securities Tokyo Branch, and Fixed Income Sales as the head of Yen Sales for Credit Suisse First Boston. Kenro earned a BA in Commerce from the University of Fukuoka in 1992.

Masaki Nakamura (Tokyo) joined KKR in 2014 and is a member of the Health Care and Semiconductor industry teams within Private Equity. Mr. Nakamura originally joined the firm as a member of KKR Capstone before transitioning to the Private Equity team. From 2019 to 2020, he worked on KKR’s U.S. Health Care investment team in Menlo Park. He has been actively involved with KKR’s investments in PHC Holdings (formerly Panasonic Healthcare), KOKUSAI ELECTRIC (formerly Hitachi Kokusai Electric), Bushu Pharma, and Hoken Minaoshi Hompo. Prior to KKR, he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in their Tokyo, Stuttgart and New Jersey offices, where he was a member of the health care practice. Since joining Osaka Prefectural Government in 1998, has held a number of senior positions in areas critical to prefectural administration, including finance, human resources, and communications. In 2021, was appointed to the Tokyo Office of the Osaka Prefectural Government, serving as a key liaison with the National Diet and central government ministries and agencies. Since 2023, has played a leading role in the Global Financial City OSAKA Project, supervising global financial administration and spearheading policies and initiatives related to the Financial and Asset Management Special Zone. Assumed the current position in 2026.

After graduating from Doshisha University, Mizuki Takahara joined JAFCO in April 2010. To date, he has consistently been engaged in venture investment in the West Japan region, primarily in Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. He has served as General Manager of the West Japan Branch since September 2021 and as a Partner since June 2022.

Mr. Masao SHIMAZAKI joined the Ministry of Finance in 1995. At the JFSA, he has held several key positions, including: Director of the Banking Business Division II (responsible for supervising regional banks), Director of the Corporate Accounting and Disclosure Division, Director of the Financial Markets Division (in charge of financial market regulation), and Director of the Resources Management Division (overseeing human resources). He assumed his current role in July 2025. His responsibilities include promoting fintech and onchain activities, and supervising the fintech sector, including funds transfer services, crypto asset exchange and stablecoin businesses. Also, supervising and planning policy on asset management sector is added to them in August 2026.

Kei Sano joined Daiwa Securities in 1990. Over the course of his career, he held a number of senior leadership positions, including branch management roles and Head of the Fixed Income Department. In 2016, he was appointed Senior Managing Director and subsequently served in a number of executive leadership roles, including Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Head of Regional Corporate Clients Consulting Division. In April 2024, he was appointed Representative Director and Deputy President of Daiwa Asset Management, concurrently serving as Head of the Marketing Division. Since April 2025, he has served as President and Representative Director of Daiwa Asset Management.

Wataru Ogihara is Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management, a position he assumed in April 2025. He began his career in 1989 at Nomura Asset Management, where he held a range of senior investment roles, including portfolio manager, chief portfolio manager for Japanese equities, Global Equity CIO, and Chief Investment Officer. He also spent more than six years in Singapore overseeing global equity investments. In 2023, he joined Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management as Head of Investment Management.

Hirofumi Hirano joined KKR in 2013 and is a Partner, Deputy Executive Chairman of KKR Asia Pacific, CEO of KKR Japan, and Chairman of KKR Capital Markets Japan. He also serves as Chairman of KJRM (KKR Japan Real Estate Management) Holdings. From 2019 to 2023, he served as Co-Head of Private Equity for KKR Asia Pacific. He serves on the KKR Asia Private Equity Investment Committee, KKR Asia Portfolio Management Committee, and KKR Asia Real Estate Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Hirano worked at AlixPartners as the Japan representative and head of financial services in Asia, and previously served as Chairman of Nikko Principal Investments. Mr. Hirano graduated from Keio University and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Ryusuke Shigetomi is Senior Managing Director and a Chairman & Representative Director for Blackstone Japan. Mr. Shigetomi is responsible for advising and supporting Blackstone’s investing and capital raising efforts in Japan. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Shigetomi was Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley Global Investment Banking & Managing Director of Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities’ Investment Banking Division and the Head of Telecommunication, Media and Technology Banking Group. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2000, Mr. Shigetomi had taken various positions with The Industrial Bank of Japan, where he played a key role on a number of trophy deals mainly in telecom/media/technology and energy sectors. Yutaka Kawakami joined Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation in 1990. During his career, he has held a broad range of roles in Japanese and global equity investment, business planning, and international asset management. He played a leading role in expanding MUFG’s global asset management platform through strategic partnerships and M&A transactions while working in the UK and Australia. In 2019, he joined First Sentier Group as Deputy CEO and Director. After returning to Japan, he oversaw MUFG’s asset management business and was appointed President and CEO of Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management in April 2026. He also serves as a board member of Investment Management Association of Japan and Japan Asset Management Forum.

Rena Nagayama is Director of Asset Management Business, responsible for supervising asset management companies. She joined the FSA in 2003, and has engaged in various policy areas, including banking supervision, financial market regulation planning, and taxation policy, such as that concerning NISA. She was also seconded to the Ministry of Finance and Permanent Delegation of Japan to the OECD. She received a bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Tokyo, and an LL.M. at Georgetown University Law Center.

Yusuke Yoshizawa joined GPIF in 2021. After working as a Vice Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of the Investment Department, he assumes office as an Executive Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of GPIF. Prior to GPIF, he was a Managing Director and Head of JPY Rates Sales at Goldman Sachs Tokyo. He worked at Goldman Sachs for 14 years and he has over 20 years of experience in fixed income trading & sales. He holds a B.A. from Chuo University.

Yoshio Hishida is the chairman of the Investment Management Association of Japan (IMAJ). IMAJ was established on April 1, 2026, through the integration of the Japan Investment　Trust Association and Japan Investment Advisers Association. He is the first Japanese professional to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from Asia　Asset Management in 2024. Yoshio has more than 30 years of experience in the asset management industry. He had been　President and CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management Co., Ltd. from October 2018 to September 2025. Yoshio started his professional career at Sumitomo Trust and Banking, Co., Ltd. (currently　SuMi TB). He has more than 16 years of experience as a portfolio manager and was a　specialist in global equities and a quantitative model-driven strategy. Yoshio became General　Manager of the Fiduciary Business Promotion Department of SuMi TB in 2008 and has been supervising and overseeing the global business and institutional client relationships, as well. Matthew Mohlenkamp is the Investment Company Institute’s (ICI) Managing Director for Asia and Global Analytics, where he leads ICI’s engagements on policy and regulatory matters across the Asia Pacific. In this role, he engages extensively with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders across the region to facilitate the development of the asset management industry for the ultimate benefit of investors. Prior to joining ICI, Mohlenkamp spent 15 years at the US Treasury Department, where he held a variety of roles focused on international economic, regulatory, and financial policy. A member of the US Senior Executive Service, he served as Director of Treasury’s Office of South and Southeast Asia, and previously was Director of the Office of the Western Hemisphere. Mohlenkamp also served as the US Financial Attaché for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore, and as the Senior Finance Official for the United States in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.

Shoichi Ohkoshi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nomura Asset Management Co., Limited. In April 2026, Ohkoshi joins Nomura Asset Management from J.P. Morgan Asset Management (Japan) Limited, where he served as CEO and Chairman. Prior to that, he held a series of General Manager roles at J.P. Morgan, including Head of Fixed Income, Head of Equities and Derivatives Product Development & Structuring. He also served as a Director of the Japan Investment Advisers Association and a Vice Chairman. Ohkoshi holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University.

He has deep expertise in the U.S. wealth management industry, particularly in the evolving role of financial advisors, the transformation of distribution channels, and the development of products and solutions that help individual investors achieve their long-term financial goals.
